KUANTAN: Vehicle ownerswith pick-up trucks and four-wheel drives, have been advised to be extra careful after at least three thefts were reported here over the weekend.State CID liasion officer Asst Supt Noor Asyikin Shamsuri said all three vehicles were parked in front of the homes of owners in Semambu and Bukit Sekilau.The first incident involved a four-wheel drive which was reported stolen between 7pm on June 25 and 5pm on June 27 in Jalan Bukit Sekilau.A salesman, aged 33, had parked the vehicle in an open space on Friday and found that the car had been stolen when he wanted to use it on Sunday.The second theft involved a Toyota Hilux that was reported stolen between 5pm and 9pm on June 26 in Jalan Semambu.The 58-year-old lorry driver had parked the vehicle in front of his house.
