SIBU: Police have detained two men in connection with the torching of a woman near Delta Mall in Pedada Road on June 12.The suspects, aged 38 and 24, were arrested yesterday at Kampung Bahagia Jaya and Kampung Nagka, respectively.The older suspect had earlier tried to evadearrest by jumping into the Igan River but was caught after a short chase.After questioning the man, the other suspect was picked up.A police spokesman said the duo were remanded for a week to assist investigations.
