Police are investigation a 2o years old policemen who shot a teenager under section 307 of the panel code for attempted murder.
Police record state that the 17 years old youth who was believed to be a Mat Rempit was shot and wounded during the chase in the early morning hours on may 8. Mohd Azizi Aziz was moved from the intensive care unit to an ordinary ward. Mohd Azizi's father Aziz Omar said that his son's condition was improving and he may be discharged in a week. The victim was shot at the abdomen when he failed to stop his motorcycle, despite being repeatedly told to do so by the two policemen in a patrol car at about 3.30 a.m.
A high speed chase then ensued , ending some three kilometres away at Kg Ujong Pasir Along Jalan Seremban-Jelebu when one of the policemen fired a shot hitting Mohd Azizi. The policemen is under investigation, who has been in service for one and a half years was immediately detained to assist in the probe.
